Chrystal L. Erickson, MPAS, PA-C, LAT, AT-C
Chrystal Erickson works in the Rock Springs, Wyo., SOSI clinic with surgeons from the spine group as well as extremity specialists. Formerly a board-certified athletic trainer, Chrystal has expertise in treating any injury from neck to toe.
Her interest in medicine was sparked during a childhood emergency hospitalization with a rare and acute disease, and she channeled that interest into sports medicine. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in athletic training, she earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies while also working as a Division 1 athletic trainer.
Now a proud Wyoming resident, Chrystal is a long-distance runner and mountain climber who has summited half of the Colorado 14ers and completed several half and full marathons. She brings her passion for sports and the outdoors to her work with the aim of helping injured patients return to their activities of choice. “Life is meant to be lived, and I am here to get you off of the sidelines and back to doing what you love.”
