Tyler Shear, ATC
Tyler Shear, ATC, joined our team in 2018 as a certified athletic trainer and now works alongside Dr. Miranda with a focus on foot and ankle care.
A U.S. Navy veteran and graduate of Grand Valley State University, Tyler has delivered sports medicine and occupational health support in diverse settings, including Work-Fit at Boeing and Amazon, as well as Premise Health at Perrigo. In his current role, he assists in surgery, helps manage clinic operations, and serves as the Medical Coordinator for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club.
Tyler brings a unique combination of clinical, surgical, and on-the-field athletic care experience. His background enables him to guide patients through the full continuum of care—from prevention and early intervention to surgery and return-to-play.
Passionate about athlete safety and performance, Tyler has developed protocols for injury reporting and management and continues to work closely with athletes, coaches, and families in the Steamboat community. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
