Corinne Reed, PA-C
Corinne Reed supports the Steamboat Orthopaedic & Spine Institute (SOSI) by assisting Dr. Alejandro Miranda in Foot, Ankle and Sports Medicine. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado. After earning her degree at CU she became an EMT and worked in Denver. She then moved back to Steamboat and worked at the hospital in the ER as an EMT and in the Cardiology clinic as a medical assistant. After working as an EMT and MA for a few years, Corinne wanted a more active role in patient care and decided to further her education by becoming a Certified Physician Assistant. She attended PA school at the University of Mount Union in Ohio. Since graduating, Corinne has become a part of the SOSI community and cannot wait to kickstart her new career!
Corinne pursued a career in healthcare because of her passion for health, as well as the ability to promote healthy lifestyles in others. She wants to ensure that her patients are involved in the decision-making process and that they understand their diagnosis and plan of care. “I believe that for the best outcomes, patients need to be an integral part of their own healthcare, and fully recognize what it takes to recover from injury.”
Corinne grew up in Steamboat Springs, where she was a part of the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club and the Steamboat Hockey Association. She is happy to be living back in Steamboat with her husband, who is also a Steamboat native, and is excited to be involved in the community again. In her free time, Corinne likes to ski, mountain bike, play hockey and play with her dogs.
