Elle Wright PA-C
Elle Wright works with Dr. Patrick Johnston and the Steamboat Orthopaedic & Spine Institute (SOSI) hand team. The team works closely to support patients’ injuries and to create individualized treatment plans that achieve the best outcomes possible.
Originally from Michigan, Elle Wright, PA-C, earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, where she studied Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience with a minor in Health Promotion. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University in Detroit.
Elle first came to Colorado in 2022 as an adaptive ski and snowboard winter intern with the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC). During her time there, she fell in love with the mountain community and active outdoor lifestyle, inspiring her to return to Colorado after PA school to begin her career in orthopedic surgery in Summit County.
Through her experience, Elle has gained broad knowledge across several areas of orthopedics, including hand and upper extremity, orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, spine and total joint care. She has a particular interest in hand and upper extremity surgery and is excited to continue developing her expertise in this specialty.
Outside of work, Elle enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, traveling and reading.
